Research Assistant Support for Staff Projects in the Office of Safety Research and Development

This project is currently performed under the direction of Battelle Inc. for the Federal Highway Administration. Professor Samer H. Hamdar and a research assistant (RA) from the GW Transportation Program offers expertise in artificial intelligence, data mining and extraction, visualization and modeling utilizing collision and traffic data. Multiple applications have been produced through this project including a real-time collision prediction tool and a big data analysis and resource allocation platform with a web-based graphical user interface.
